Gloria Dawson, RN, is a 1980 graduate of the Mary Lanning School of Nursing in Hastings, Nebraska. Originally from Arapahoe, Nebraska, Dawson is the diabetic educator and staff nurse in cardiac services. She began with Lexington Regional in 1985 and has worked to help the health center meet national standards for outpatient diabetes education and self-management. This designation gave Lexington Regional ADA recognition, in conjunction with BryanLGH Health System.
MJ Hart, RN, is a 1974 graduate of Nebraska Methodist Hospital School of Nursing. Prior to coming to Lexington Regional in 1989, Hart worked in cardiology in Lincoln and Omaha. Originally from Crete, Nebraska, she is responsible for implementing the Cardiac Rehabilitation and Outpatient Services. Hart also serves as the Bryan Heart Institute’s Western Nebraska coordinator and clinic nurse, while working with Bryan Heart Institute to perform investigational drug trials for congestive heart failure.
Carol Hanson, LPN, has been a staff nurse with Lexington Regional Health Center since 1991. Hanson is originally from Friend, Nebraska.
Linsey Johnson is the Outpatient Services admission’s clerk and has been with the health center since 2003.
MaryKay Rhone, RN, is the director of cardiac services and Outpatient Services. Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, she is a 1979 graduate of Nebraska Methodist Hospital School of Nursing. Rhone has been with Lexington Regional since 1980 and administers Matters of the Heart, a support group for people with disease, or those interested in increasing their heart health.
