First Baby of 2012 Born

The first days of 2012 were quiet at Lexington Regional Health Center, but then suddenly there were three births in just 24 hours! Yet only one could be the first baby of 2012.

Candelaria Santos Ramon was born at 8:54 p.m. on Jan 4, 2012, to Angelina Santos Ramon and Mario Bautista. She weighed six pounds, was 19.5 inches long, and was delivered by Dr. Francisca Acosta-Carlson. Candelaria has a 10-year-old sister, Melissa, and six-year-old brother, Lorenzo.

The family received a basket filled with baby supplies, including donations from Johnson Jewelry, Barmores, Wal-Mart, and U-Save.
