Monday – Friday: 8:00 am — 9:00 pm
Weekends & Holidays: 10:00 am — 8:00 pm

We accept all insurance plans, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Coventry, Ameritas, Midlands Choice Network, Medicare, and Medicaid.

Patients can access Urgent Care through the east entrance of Lexington Regional Health Center. Patient parking is available in the parking lot near the east entrance and along Erie street.


In the fall of 2011, Lexington Regional Health Center opened the doors to the area’s only Urgent Care. This walk-in Urgent Care offers medical attention at a fraction of the cost of an emergency room visit without the need for appointments. Patients are seen by our Nurse Practitioners in the order of arrival, and the walk-in Urgent Care accepts all insurance plans, as well as self-paying patients.

Our Nurse Practitioners Barb Foss, Ann Young, and Ann Scott are qualified to diagnose and treat non-emergent cases, including chronic and serious conditions. See the list below (while not comprehensive) for conditions the clinic is prepared to treat:

  • Cold & flu symptoms
  • Sore throats
  • Infections
  • Fever
  • Minor limb injuries
  • Burns
  • Cuts
  • Insect bites
  • Allergies

  • Strains & sprains
  • Abdominal pain

Urgent Care is for non-emergency situations only. If you have an emergency, or any of the conditions below, please visit the Lexington Regional Health Center emergency room or call 911.

  • Loss of consciousness
  • Infants less than 6 months with a temperature of 103 degrees or greater
  • Pregnancy bleeding
  • Choking
  • Electrical shock
  • Head/neck trauma
  • Auto-related accidents
